Cofactor was featured in the February edition of Nature Methods in the Product Focus on sequencing section for the spike-in RNA controls we’ve introduced as part of our RNA-seq services. These controls, developed by the External RNA Controls Consortium (ERCC) paired with our analysis pipelines, provide a standard we use to normalize samples. 

As the first commercial sequencing providers to offer spike-in RNA controls, we’re excited to address the variability often observed in RNA-seq experiments. Expect an in-depth post on the controls soon.
